Tips on tips
Thursday, May 26, 2005 7:38 PM
I just finished painting my Cavy, and was thinking "what would compliment shiny new paint better than shiny new exhaust?!" of course I recently replaced my exhaust (from the cat. back) and although I went with basic crappy-tire parts, (I was a little short on cash at the time) they're still new and I'd rather not replace new parts. (I'm not made of money).

My question is this... what sort of exhaust tip (if any) will give me the nicest sound?

Of course, looks are the most important factor, but if there's a tip available that will enhance the sound of my ride then that would definately factor into my decision.

unless it is a tip with a built in resonator (like pacesetter's tips....) it won't change the sound at all. Thats waht resonators and mufflers are for...

like nate said, a tip wont give you sound. just looks. muffler, header, the cat, size of pipe is what determines sound
