the 02 simulator doesn't give any Hp even if you think you gain some.

Why rev over 4k on neutral? you are plain stupid doing that.

Even if you have all the mods you want and didn't change the cam in you 2.4, you will most likely have the same powerband and it will be useless to go over 6500rpm.

I plane on other mods and have ordered a few more things just wanted to know how to up the limit a little.

I don't see any mods that would require a higher rev limit to get max power.

You can't. JBP can probably reflash it for you, $500.

I'm a bit lost

My Quad 4 has been able to rev up to and past 7000rpm since the day I bought it...

You want to go higher than that?! (Or are Quad's special?)

I may be wrong, but your car is OBD I. That probally explains why you don't have a rev limator, where Richard's car is OBD II and has one.

If that's the case an swaping to OBD I may be the eay to do it, but it's also illeagal to do that in most (if not all) states

OBDI had the rev limiter too.

btw, 2.3 auto are OBDII

there's no way the 95 2.3 rev to 7000k +. The tach is probably off like my 90 Gtz pointing 7500rpm with my Scx ecm when it's suppose to be 7200

If you are trying to get people to look at you get going 30 mph and place it in N and rev that mofo out to 6250rpm, my 99 and 00 both do it. still run strong.
