Hello I'm very new to this. I need to replace the rear window on my 1998 cav- convertible. I just need to know if the thing comes in pieces or what? Any idea's would help.

If you buy a replacement it will come as separate top and glass/plastic. The glass and plastic are different sizes so you can't just swap the two. I have a 97 Sunfire Convertible, with plastic. You can get replacement parts all over the net, google it up. If you need to replace any of the mechanism, I recommend finding out what you need, then going to a junk yard and get just that. Not too many places make the mechanism.

It might be a long shot but try calling local junk yards to see if they might have a vert in their lot. As long as you know how to remove it or know someone that is handy, you'll save a lot of money.

I got my cloth top and glass rear window
HERE Cost $472 to my door. I took the old one off and put the new one on in about 7hrs.
