what colors are the wires for the tach??

i was wondering what colors the wireing harness are on the back of the gaige cluster for the stock tach on a 99 z24?

If you adding a tach that is one of the worst places to get the signal. You can blow ou the whole cluster. Just goto the plug @ your ignition module. I believe its the white wire (well it is on my 96). This will give you a signal directly from the module. No need for an adaptor just a tach or an alarm reference.

Hit 200 NA it broke once, Hit 213 it broke again,
Hitting 300 NA is further away than I thought.

hey rol naz!! on your cavi doesnt watter get in to your intake like that.? so close to the edge of the hood in let?

I never did get any water with my intake like that .. I have a totally different 1 now .. plus im selling the car ..

I meant tach signal for a tach on your dash or with a remote start you need a tach signal or alarm reference to make it run.

I have a 5 speed with a remote start so its calleded a reference signal.

ahhh ok thanks man.. c with my intake i have it like that to but my filter is in behind the battery cause im scared ill get watter in it if its there.
