Hello. My name is daniel, and i just registared for this forum. I no longer own my 96 sunfire GT MTX. It was black, and it was beautiful condition. I bought it back in april of 04' for $3000. I loved my sunfire. But, on july 28th, 2004, i was running late to meet my friends for a trip to carowinds. On the way there, it started to rain. I was driving too fast for the conditions, and lost control at 55 MPH around a turn. I over-corrected, and sent it sideways into a telephone pole. I hit the firewall directly. Luckily, i walked away with only a concusion and some bruises. 2 more feet back, and my head would have made direct contact with the pole, which would have left me dead. I loved my sunfire, and searched for another one without success. So on october 11, 2004. I found a 1994 Ford Taurus SHO in moonlight blue. This is my current car, and i love it to death, but i still think i would rather have my sunfire. You can view both before and after pictures of my sunfire at this site: www.cardomain.com/id/blackgtsunfire and if you want to check the SHO, go here: www.cardomain.com/id/shodown220
im sorry to hear about the fire, saw tha pics, depressing tos ee ur baby like that huh?! Ma boy totaled his 88 ramcharger, we were coming back from paintballin and hit a tree head on at prolly 35-40.... we were fine, he got hit in the back of the head with a sub box but was fine, but its hard to toatal 3 tons of steel, but its possible. but yea, sucks huh.... good luck with ur sho.
I am gonna sound like a total a hole but it serves you right your car was wrecked. Idiots need to punished for not knowing how to drive in the rain.
^^^^ thanks Mario Andretti for your useful driving tips
Sorry to hear about your car! Hope everything works out with the SHO
lets look at it like this..... what if hat pole was a car with your mom in it. and she is driving all carefully and then that a hole is humming around that corner and takes her out and kills her. but since that didn't happen and he only hit a pole he deserves our symphony ? i think not ! he should have never put himself or his car in that position. raceing to meet some friends HA......
But it wasnt. So give him a break. I hope never to see a thread from you in the Jacked/Wrecked Forum
i don't give breaks for stupidity... I don't feel sorry for him. and i am free to voice that opinion. am i not?

Yes, you are! Thanks to our founding fathers, you are able to voice your opinion any way you see fit!! Thanks for asking
Hopefully you've given your father a break for not pulling out
my father was hit and killed by a drunk driver when i was 3
Even though i'm allowed to express my opinion, as you are, I will be the better person and not comment about someones misfortune.

I dont know about you , but i def couldnt play a "symphony" for him.
I'll give him my sympathy because i know how it feels to loose a car.
Good luck on the new one ....
Well, i messed up, i know i did. But you know what, everyone makes mistakes, im sorry that i cannot be as @!#$ perfect as you are. I dont expect people to have sympothy on me, that wasn't the point in this post. But what i have learned from this is that im a human, and you know what that means? I make mistakes. I can vouch for everyone that they have made mistakes. i wasn't driving fast to be an @!#$ thank you very much. One more thing, you are going to tell me that you have never, ever went over the speed limit or broken one driving violation??

Thanks, but honestly, its the truth. While ive never been in a wreck, ive had a couple close calls! Sometimes you dont realize what you are doing till its too late!! Hindsight in 20-20 as they say!!! Anyways, good luck with the new ride, let us know what you do to it (dont wreck it)
Alright ill keep you posted. So far i have removed my outter airbox, installed a K&N filter, aftermarket alarm, Eurolite Xenon Fusion healights, Eurolite Xenon foglights, i have rewired my foglights to come on with the parking lights, and stay on with headlights and high-beams. And hopefully soon i will have the windows tinted and 17 inch Cobra R rims.

i rolled my '02 corolla ont he highway going 65mph on a bright sunny day. my grandmother was in the car. lost control when i had a blowout, went into the ditch and rolled a few times in 3 feet of snow so it wasnt too rough like rolling on pavement or whatever...anyways we were ok just a few scratches...car was totaled.
this comment pissed me off though...

i was an inexperienced driver, lack of ABS on the car, i slammed on the brakes and i did what was instinctual. you obviously have not been in the same position to even KNOW what it would feel like if you really DID kill a family member.
whatever...
