Im new to electrical items. After the kit is all mounted and ready to go, where do I hook the wires to for the power?
I've done interior neons, neon plate, and washer nozzles, all involving wire splicing from either headlights or running lights. Where would the under kit splice into?
you could wire it to a switch, then the switch right to the battery, no need to splice if you dont want to
so this can hook streight up to battery? Just wrap the wire around positive..... this doesnt seem right.
As long as the switch can handle that type of load, if all off of one switch.

Here is a recommended way to wire it through one switch. The wire that is showing coming from the ignition fuse can be any number of wires you choose... parking light positive, headlight positive. Heck, if you wanted to, you could run it to the turn sig positive.
You would be splicing into the wire, one of the 3M quick splice deals should do the trick.
Just remember, you can never have too many fuses.

The LED tubes plug into the distributer block, which plugs into the control unit. Coming out of the control unit is a black wire and a red wire. Black goes to ground, Red goes to hot. If you want a switch and a fuse (which you do) wire them inline between your 12v source and the control unit.
No offense, but if you cant figure what to do with two wires... you should not be doing it.
If you are too @!#$ dumb that you need to ask how to wire a 12 volt accessory into your car... God you're not too bright.
I mean, I understand everyone needs help, and not everyone knows everythng, not even me. But man... this has to top my dumb people list.

Get a hayne's or a chilton's... it will help you with finding available existing circuitry if you plan to splice. I suggest using a relay, that way you don't run the rist of burning out a switch that's not rated for your intended purpose (and it's safer).
Here's a helpful hint if you feel like taking on a project:
Make yourself another fuse box for all your aftermarket accessories. I did the same thing in my 87 K5 blazer, got a fuse panel from a junk car and used it to provide power for my CB radio, VHF radio, off-road lights, and other lights (like handheld beams)
And to add, take your time.
But yes, you could run the control unit to the relay. That way, the lights will come on (for example) when you have your parking lights on, and turn off when you shut off your parking lights.
Use a relay and put fuses on everything. For outside (and even inside) accessories, you can get a wear hole or crack in the wire insulation and a short to ground that can start fires, blow accessories and even kill your entire elctrical system. The fuse should be as close to the power source as possible.
