Air Intake and Cat Back Exhaust

For starters, I have a 1995 2.2L Pontiac Sunfire.

I was about to order my air intake and single cat back exhaust systems from RKSport, when I decided it would be smart to find out if there is a better deal. RKSport is quite expensive on everything. I have browsed the forums, and read up on the Secret Weapon Intake, but on the site I didn't see an application for my car.

Basically, I'm just looking for some opinions before I go blow $500+. Any opinions will be appreciated.

Also, I ordered my rims/tires a few weeks ago. 16'' Enkei 5+ with Pirelli tires. They should be getting in soon

^^ yup. get an ebay intake (their all the same, its just an intake). as for an exhaust, i went to a local speed shop. ordered a muffler and had custom piping bent at an exhaust shop. much cheaper that way

Ah, thanks alot. 1 more question, my friend told me that you need a mass air flow sensor, and the ebay intakes don't come with them. Any info?

Yup, the don't come with the sensor. But the sensor that is on the intake is the IAT sensor not mass air flow sensor. You can just use the factory one that is on the intake right now, that's what I did with my Injen intake. If you decide to get a new one then it's not bad either because they are like $20 from the dealer.

i would say a custom exhaust is cheaper but if u do like the rksport one, i bought the duals from them and i looked everywhere and couldnt find one for cheaper. And It is a Magnaflow exhasut system, and Magnaflow sells the exact same exhaust for 900.00 dollars, not 400.00 like RK. And other then that the cheapest i found anywhere else was for 600.00. So ya. Im not sure if its the same for the single exit but thats what i found with the duals. Good luck.

Honestly I don't want to get into the "Secret weapon" argument on here. I have seen it in person and have seen it's improvements in person. I say it's a good buy. If you seriously want to purchase it, check out www.definedparts.com, they sell Weapon-R products for very good prices. You can even ask him questions on AOL screen name "Definedparts" which is usually on-line from 9 am - 5 pm.

Now as far as your cat-back question goes, check out your local performance shop and see what kind of price they will give you on a custom mandrel bent 2 1/4" piping and buy some Magnaflow mufflers or Borla mufflers separately (or even through the shop if the price is right). If the price is good and less than what RK Sport is offering, go for it.
