I drive a 2000 cavy coupe. I wanted to change my front turn signals to blue so I removed my OEM bulbs and put in blue xenon bulbs. i turned on my lights and both bulbs work. I tried my left turn signal and it did not work (the turn arrow on my dash blinked really fast). my right one did work. I switched the bulbs around and my left one worked but my right one did not. I assumed this was the bulbs problem so I was planning on returning them. I reinstalled the OEM bulbs and started driving and noticed my CD player going a little crazy. I tried my left turn signal and it did not work. my right one did though. i don't know what the heck is going on.
i would also think it was a problem with the bulbs, but the other day both of my turn signals just stopped working, nothing would blink, not even the cluster lights, i ended up turning on my hazards to see if they worked and it fixed my problem, so you might as well give it a try, it wouldnt hurt
Car is possesed....drive it into a ditch and run away lol. Disconnect your battery and turn on ur headlights....turn em off...reconnect.....see if that makes everything ok
did you fill up the blinker fluid before installing the bulbs?
j/k just check out your other lights to make sure they all work like taillights and all. if one of them is out, it will cause that side to blinker faster
Sounds like either bad/cheap bulbs or the wrong bulbs. Did you get these from a guy selling them from a back of a truck?

when your turn signal blinks really fast it means you have a burnt bulb or a short. when you turn your lights on does one of the blinker arrows stay on solid?
nope.
where would the short be?
You have to watch those aftermarket bulbs for turnsignals and tailights. I tried the led tail bulbs, 1) the turn signals blinked really fast as if a bulb was out, 2) it actually stretched the inside of the bulb socket out where that if u put the bulb in, it would go in too far and would register as the bulb was out. I had to pull it out slighty for them work right, but if i hit the slightest bump they would slip back in again and cause the turn signal problem. Ended up replacing both sockets and solved the problem. So that could be your problem. Also, I'm not sure on how strong those Xenon bulbs are but it coulda cooked your sockets or wiring. Hard to tell the situation without being at your car to see exactly whats up. Just trying to help out some from my experience, plus I've heard similar stories from other people I know.
