Looks like a nice start. Whats next?
if i was him id drop a 2.4 in it next.....
FOR SALE: (5) '95-'99 Z24 Rims
I dunno what's next. I only have about $1400 left, and I'm keeping $1000 of it in my bank at all times. So I think I might just save for a while. I might eventually re-do the whole exhaust sytem, then get a body kit and paint the car. Can't be for sure though.
Nice start. If you need help just ask or post in the newbies forum.

Ummm...I just had a new muffler put on. I think it's APC, or something like that, lol. It was only about $150. I don't remember exact specs :S

Well the problem is finding a 2.4 motor that has low mileage...once they reach high mileage then your stepping into unknown territory as far as if it will start to break down or not.
Now and days it's more affordable to swap an ECO in and you can find them with extremely low mileage. You would need a donor car, not just the motor cause you need pretty much everything out of it...motor, tranny, PCM, injectors, fuel rail, fuel lines, ignition system etc. It's not easy to do and it's not cheap.
I've seen prices as far as to actually DO a swap for around $1000-1200, it really depends on where you go. Honestly, the amount of money your doing to swap one in, you can have a high-powered 2.2 OHV boosted.
That's just my opinion...

How much do you think it would cost to boost my 2.2?
^^^^ Turbo Kits for the 2.2 OHV Run from $3300-3600 for a good setup. Installation varies between shops. When at one time when I was thinking of getting a turbo kit I was asking around for prices. I've gotten quotes from $500 install to $1000 install...so if your really that interested, shop around and ask different performance shops what they do and how much they charge.
I believe these places sell 2.2 OHV turbo kits:
www.jbodyperformance.com
www.jtuners.com (formerly known as Cavalier Connection)
www.maximumboost.com (formerly known as Cavalier Extreme)
Good Luck

Thanks for the links, but at $4500+ after installation, I doubt I will be getting my car boosted any time soon
