I am friends with Josh aka IZN TRBL and he told me to check out the forums and site. Just wanted to post and say whats up. I own a red 1999 Pontiac Sunfire and just starting to mod it (exhaust and intake so far).
Right now I am looking into a system but need some advice. I was checking out eBay and found these two 12" Audiobahn subs in box (comes with all wiring, tweeters, and an amp kit), and a 1600w amp and wondered what you guys think (good deal, good product, ect.) I am open for suggestions and opinions...I also need to get a CD deck and everything else needed for a new sound system (let me know your guys' opinion).

I like those subs, they are good and hit real hard........ The Amp all i can say is no name junk. If your looking for a good amp and are into matching all your stereo equipment i would go with any audiobahn amp they are all good........ have fun on your project let me know what your gettin..
Josh is a great guy! He made my headlights...first 03+ sunfire with them.

i would check out "audio & electronics" and see what they have to say just to narrow it down. maybe read up in the "image manipulation" and learn how to ask for a signature to be made...if you dont know how to make one.

welcome you'll learn alot here. as for my input on the subs. i like the subs but was never a fan of ported boxes
just so youll get the right reply ive actually had that brand amp before..a 1200w one....it burned out within 2 months....make your choice lol

i agree with everyone else like the subs (don't care too much for the ports) but as far as the amp it's a no name and you might get 2 years out of it if your lucky then again it might burn out within 3 months after you buy it.btw welcome to the org.looking forward to seeing the pics of progress on the sunfire.

I emailed the seller asking if he could deduct the price of the amp for me and just give me the subs, box, and wiring since you all seem to like the subs. He told me deduct $80 from the auction and it is a deal...what do you guys think??
To the suggestion of matching everything Audiobahn, I think that would be great. If you could link me to a good enough amp, two 4x6's and 6x9's (i think those are the sizes for the front and back speakers), that would be awesome. Thanks again.
^Woops, since it doesnt come with the amp it's not gonna come with the Amp Gauge...so the only difference are the neon lights...which I don't think are worth $62 are they?
Also, I might have a friend wire it up for me, but I would really like a professional to do it...how much does it normally cost to get everything wired? Thanks and I look forward to your replys when I get home

looks like an ok deal... carefull with that box tho. my friend had one just like that and i think we removed the subs etc one to many times and the glass wouldnt seal and rattle to all hell, cracked, etc...
