strut bars...?

i was looking for a set of strut bars . one for front and 1 for back ... i know this is a important handling product so what would be my best bet right now ... i just lookin for the fron . i seen vibrabnt has a set with both for 100 bucks . i want something that will fit perfect on my 2001 pontiac sunfire 2200 motor ,.

vibrant i've heard is a good fit....for the front i got one off a convertible form a junkyard

i heard the vibrant is very good. i just ordered one from auto parts warehouse for 70 bucks. the bar was only 50 but the overnight shipping was 20.

ok good ... i gonna order the set with the front strut bar and the rear ... i was worried that 100 bucks for both was to cheap and i don't wanna buy a cheap product knwo what i mean ... so the front and rear should fit good ??

Pretty much any company that makes a strut bar is good to go with...it's just a bar, nothing more to it, just as long as it fits correctly and made for your car and/or engine bay.

I have an RSM Racing front strut bar, a no name rear strut bar.

ok but i will be gettint the vibrant set . i just wanna know if it will fit perfect without having to move anything out the way u know ?if it will fit perfect then i will order it tonight . and hopefully have it in by the car show next saturday

I've never heard of any fitment issues.

Go to the suspension forum and do a search on vibrant strut bars and see what people say.

Didnt someone make their own strut tower brace? Thought i saw a post a while back of somebody doing it.

I actually bought my rear strut from an org member in the classifieds that he made himself. It's really not all that hard if your mechanically inclind a bit.

Isnt it just some strong tubeing, welded to some plates to bolt down? Would there be any disadvantage of making one over buying one even tho its not brand name? I would rather make my own than buy one. I am an expirenced welder.
