I am very interested in supercharging my cavalier 2.4L, the thing is its a 97 does anyone know of any places that have them for my car i know gm performance has them for the 2k and up

on ebay i hardly ever see any and not to many in the classifieds here are there any websites that have them?

GM makes one that can be used but you cant get the reflash for your 97 so some sort of compensation will have to be made to get the fuel curves right be it stand alone or some sort of fuel management like apexi safc2(not expensive) or stand alone(expensive) and the other option that does have a reflash available is RSM racings vortech kits they make a stage one and two but dont expect that option to be cheaper it is very and I do mean very expensive.

check it out maybe it will interest you you may be better off getting a turbo over teh rsm kits they are incredibly pricey.

OK say i go with a turbo would it be better buying everything seperate or together if seperate what do i need?

if you don't know what you're doing, it's best to buy a complete turbo kit. that way you know you're getting everything you need.

read as much info as you possibly can in the boost forum about turbochargers and putting one on a 2.4l engine, as well as maintaining it properly so you don't toast your engine.
