How many horsies or anything (besides a loud annoyin car) will i gain if i hollow my cat. and put a glasspack on just for now till i get money for a full exhaust?

Upgrading or in this case half upgrading one part of your exhaust system won't give you any significant gain especially trying to modify your catalytic converter. Our cats aren't that restrictive actually and in most cases won't gain you any real power unless you are boosted.

...save the glasspack for a second muffler (read: resonator) for when you have the cash for the catback setup. youll deepen the sound, and will thank yourself that you waited.
