Driving without fenderwell liner

Hi all,
I'm in the middle of removing my intake resonator (bong) and I'm stuck cause it won't budge, so I will continue tomorrow to 'play' with it until I can remove it completely. Meanwhile, I have to use the car and it's currently raining outside, can I drive the car without the fenderwell liner or is it better not to have water in this area ?

When i took the bong out i cut it right at the neck where it goes into teh engine bay and then just ripped it out. i didt worry about disconnecting it from the washer tank.

Driving with out the liners won't hurt it. I have cold air and no liners and I drive in the rain all the time. No problems.
I just gotta watch for puddles.
