V6 bottom line

Brand Newbie and popping my cherry for posts.
Is it Possible, feasible, and economically worth it to put any of the manual 5 speed V6 Engines, preferably the 3.1L, into a 1998 2.2L 4 door automatic? More importantly, is it possible with the help of a a professional and their tools, and about how much, including price of the engine and anything else, IE manual transmission swap for the 5 speed, would it be alltogether roughly. Labor being free but how much of that as well?

Anything is possible with the right amount of fabrication but it will fit. You can even put a 3800 S/C motor into your cavalier. Contact Org member or go to the Performance forum and search for 3800 threads. Basically, it will fit and you have to make your own mounts.

I got bored just now and decided to search for you. I found the thread that tells you how (I believe step by step) to install a 3800 S/C motor into your 3rd gen Cavalier.
