hey yall, im new, my name is jordan, i drive a 1997 Grand Am GT it came with a 3.1 but i swaped it to a 2.4 dohc...(quad4) im pushing 199 hp, so i round it to 200 lol only 197 ft lbs i am kinda smart on the quad 4, so if you need help i can try!

lol, i have a cai,header, low comp. pistons, turbo(soon) going to get cams very soon, custom exhaust pipeing, two cans, no cat, no res, i am planing on a NX kit soon(75 shot), B&M shift Plus,tuned comp, "bored out" tb(thank you Dremel(the tool)) stock body kit, stock rims, stock springs, shaqed all the badges off(better areodynamics,less weight lol),oh and the thing that gives my car the most hp is... a blown head gasket! happened on the way home 2day
I hope that "tuned ecm" is a real reflash and not an ebay module.
The only real tuning you can do on your Ecm is with the reflash. Unless you got with piggy back.

Custom exhaust with no cat, and 2 cans: +5 to +10hp, backpressure is a friend in NA cars, so you probably lost more torque than you gained in hp...
CAI: +5hp
Header: +5 to +8hp
ShiftPlus: +0 (Shiftplus does not add hp, it just makes your tranny shift faster)
Tuned Comp: Unless you are better with ECU's and programming than people like HPTuners, I don't think you can have this. There is no ECU upgrade for the 2.4L, ebay chips don't count.
"Bored Out TB with a dremel": Assuming you kept the butterfly area the same (otherwise you'd have to replace the butterfly), +0hp
So all in all, you probably gained 10hp at the flywheel...

Sad but true. I remember the first time I thought I had 200BHP w/ a few basic bolt-ons, and someone more knowledgeable gave me the business. Happens to all of us... except for Shifted because he knows everything
