I searched but didn't really find what i was lookin for. Ok i want to get a 2.4 for my sunfire. I want to build this thing so it will handle anything i throw at it. Be able to run any size turbo and run upwards of 15 PSI. Can this be done? Its deff. goin to be a turbo. What all would i have to up grade and how much would it about cost if i do it myself?

yeah it can be done.
then you have the rods, pistons, bearings, probaly be a good idea for a P&P, 5 angle valve job, crankshaft. it can get expensive.
as far as cost if you do it yourself thats somethig you have to figure out yourself

To handle a high amount of turbo PSI, you pretty much need to build up your bottom end with strong forged parts. Like he said, it can get very expensive and it will make you question if it's worth it spending thousands on top of thousands of dollars to do all this work.
Also, when you start to learn about turbos, you will see that 15 PSI on one turbo isn't the same on another turbo, so don't assume that 15 PSI is alot of power to hold when it might not be.

ok so what if i run maybe 10-15 PSI and i upgrade the bearings, pistons, rods, the valves, a p&p. Would that work good? i was also think about a .020 bore

Yes, that would hypothetically be fine but there is much more that goes into it than just throwing in parts and turning up boost. I don't want you to just jump into everything all at once and get ahead of yourself. If you are totally serious about spending anywhere from $2500-3500 on a proper turbo setup, anywhere from $500-1000 on installation, possibly some more C-Notes on dyno tuning, another $1000 on bottom end parts, possibly $1000 for bottom end parts to be installed (and extra cash to work the block to make you fit .020 over pistons), and $1200 for an upgraded cylinder head.
Now those pricings are just a summary of what prices I was given and researched myself. That is the actual reality though...big horsepower = big money. Now this of course doesn't include other things that come to accomodate more power like possibly upgrading your tires, getting a limited slip differential (LSD), upgrading transmission parts etc etc.
My suggestion is, fine, you want a turbo setup...do that first. See how you like it, see where your limits are and learn more about how your motor works. From that point on, things will get more and more positive. If you wanted, you could skip over most bolt ons if you wanted to.
Also, learn everything you can about how turbochargers work and how to maintain a turbocharged vehicle. Research is the key.

First you need to ask yourself do you have enough time and money to learn turbo dynamics. If your just looking for the $300 setup your about to lose your car. If youy get the 2.4L motor you will have to change your trans too. Also the ECU and wiring harness need to be changed.
First look at your race conditions. "to run against anything.." is B.S. because unless your Kasey Kahne and have a full time shop and mechanics at your disposal you can't really run one day drag, one day road and another drift. Each has it's own set of conditions the car has to meet.
Look at the small stuff first. CAN YOU FIT A TURBO SETUP INTO THE CAR? Be truthful to yourself also. The old "I'll drive around with no front bumper", is love by cops looking to fill the ticket qoute.
What TYPE of racing do you want to do? Are you going to stay auto? Is this a daily driver?
