well i thought id put somethin up here cuz im a newb on the forum i just purchased an 05 sunfire sport that has pretty much i think everything available minus onstar sport suspension sport exhaust all that fun stuff sunroof and the premium sound system. im not a newb when it comes to cars in fact i am very inclined and want to get my ase cert. i am currently in the us navy and my job is working on aviation support equipment which is stuff like tow tractors and electrical generators and what not. so i am learning a little bit of troubleshooting this way yet i want more. i plan to go to a tech college to get the full hands on troubleshooting experience. i have a son who is already a car freak at only a year old. haha pretty cool i think. anyways when i come up with questions i hope i am helped more than the common "use the search button" referal. one question i do have however is besides the neon rear disc conversion i have found is there any other available? such as a cobalt rear disc conversion? something that is just basic plug and play? anyways thanks for the help in advance. later
welcome to the home we all call JBO. one thing to keep in mind, the people who get the "search" reply alot, usually ask a question that is asked 5 times a week, and usually have that question answered multiple times on the front page of that particular forum.
but do ask questions, theres plenty here to help, and very knowledgable people also.
as far as the rear brake swap, check out this thread

also, i think the corvette rear brakes swap in with a little modification also.
cheers, and welcome

the only plug and play set you'll really get is the baer big brake kit which is designed for our cars.
will i be able to swap the baer rear disc kit out with my drum set up or what? thats one thing i was wondering because i saw it on andysautosport.com so yeah i was thinkin bout that but then again i know i would need some other stuff to swap out so yeah jus was kinda curious. prolly gonna wait till my warrentys up for any big stuff such as turbo and what not. hell with only 450 on the clock ya damn right im gonna wait. haha anyways yeah im likin it so far it feels good and what not definatly something i could auto-x with eventually. something i am interested in is a good carbon fiber interior kit. does anybody know anywhere i could get a good deal on one ??? well anyways later ya'll

welcome to your new home, known simply as "the org"!
well after some serious thought i believe i have figured out my first few mods. im gonna do some lighting and carbon fiber along with change the color of the headliner in my car because like pretty much everybody that has a dark grey interior i have the tan headlinger and sunroof slide. after taxes come im gonna see if i have the money and most likely ill be putting kazera kz-a 17x7.5 on some BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2 from tirerack.com if i can pull it i wanna do the baer big brake kit all around and also the grenavatuning coilovers. i think im gonna stick with the stock body because there isnt really any kits out that look decent they are all over done either on the front or rear bumper so yeah. anyways has anybody installed the baer kit on here? if so do you got pictures? any issues with it? well if anybody wants to hit me up im on my messenger stuff so yeah hit me up.
