Anybody know where I can get a new cat converter for my 02 sunfire with a 2200 engine?

if you want a nice, highflow, performance cat (no downside to it, really), buy a magnaflow cat, part number 94035, from hottexhaust.com. cheap, free shipping, its all good. no other opinions needs, lol.

...don't hate!.. respect people that have talent, even if it is in something you don't like or understand.

^^^ "high flow" cat is pointless on a stock system

stock or high flow doesn't really matter. mine's just acting a bit weird by making random noises haha.

Are you sure it's your catalytic converter?

might be hearing some of the catalyst break apart. i use to be able to slap mine around and listen to pieces go all the way through the piping and then jam up or shoot out the muff. some reason i had found this humorous

haha... i guess not..maybe it's just the resonator or my ring needs to be replaced cause it's probably rattling. Anybody know where to get a resonator? Oh yea...my cousin joked around with me saying i should just drop a 4.3L supercharged engine in my car. Is that even possible?! I wonder how much it would cost to do it???

If you're hearing rattling, it's something with the outside of your exhaust system more than likely, like a hanger or something of that nature. Take it to an shop to get put on a life to make sure.

4.3L? umm if it's off a RWD, it's not worth attempting because you would have to do a conversion and our engine bay wouldn't fit it anyways unless you did some major modifications or something. Cost...more than you would want to spend lol

Magnaflow sells a resonator or you can get a glasspack to do the same job.
