What im looking for is a part for my ignition that would recalibrate the ignition timing to more degrees than stock and im not sure of the exact name since it goes by a few different ones. Also i was wondering if
this was something that does that. If not where can i find one for my 2200?
You would need an MSD ignition system but I can't remember the product #. Do you know what you're doing as far as timing? Do you understand how that works? I'm just asking because i'd hate for you to buy one and not know exactly what you're doing...

Yea ive got MSD blaster coils and Nology wires and some performance sparkplugs already. My "mentor" for this project said to get one that starts around 20 degrees from TDC and continues through to 20 degrees from TDC as well or something close to that. He pointed out a few in a summit racing catalogue, but they were for distributor cars and the ones that were for distributorless were like 4-600dollars.

The link you showed before didn't send me to a page but you would need the MSD DIS-2 Ignition System.

That's a module and it will work like crap. Only true way to change your ignition timing is through MSD Ignition and possibly through an Greddy E-manage.

Oh and if you use Megasquirt...

Yea, that Jet module is crap, i had one and it didnt do $hit. It's pretty much pointless on any OBD II car.
