I recently installed a front strut bar, but i was wondring where you guys with 3rd gens mounted your cars brain lol? i got mine mounted on one bolt and leaning back tords the firewall, could i just mod the bracket and drill new holes, then mount it directly to firewall vertically?

Well considering the "brain" is the PCM, and thats inside the fender. I guess you could put it anywhere you like.

not on the 03's (and probably the 2000 and ups)...on those models its on a bracket on the strut tower

and yeah, id just mod the bracket and put a screw or bolt in there

I have an '00 sunfire, Its in the fender well. but ok. damn new cars.

well, mabey its only on the ecotecs or on the 03's and up, i know that mine is on the strut tower

I just pryed the support until I got enough clearance, then put the pcm back on the support
