Could somebody with experience with either putting on the sunfire front or type j rear give me a beginning to end intallation how-to? I searched front bumper removal and got no results, and i search sunfire front installation with no results and did the same for type j rear with nothing.

i want to do this myself so if you guys could help me out i'd appreciate it alot.

it would be better to have a pro do it. Cause each one is a little different, so for fitment, your gonna need to know where to drill holes and where to cut or sand to get it to fit right, Do it wrong, and it may cost more to fix your mistake then to have it put on right the first time.

I have no idea...

If you don't know what you're, it would be worth it to take it to a professional.

I know that the crush material on the rear would give the type J reinforcement of you shave some off with a sawsall until it fits.

It really is a matter of trial and error. Just dont cut or drill anything until you are dam sure thats where you want it.

go pick up a haynes/chiltons manual for your fire. it should only cost you about $15. it will tell you how to remove your stock bumpers. if you need any help, feel free to hit me up on AIM

It's not that hard.....for the front just remove the headlights and the radiator cover, then there's like 4 clips there, take those out..then take out the bolts that connect the fenders and the front bumper and any other ones if there are any. Also you may have to cut some of the crush panel for the front to fit, not sure on the sunfires but for my Type-J front I had to. Then bolt on the new bumper, get it fitting properly and your set.
