I was wondering 3 things-
1- what does JDM mean?
2- How can you remove the front and rear bowites on the 03+ cavaliers
3- How do you reattach them?
Thanks! N00b for life, yo!

not sure on the front, but on the rear you can remove that piece that has the bow tie on it

1) Japanese Domestic Market
2) 99redZ24 is correct about the rear... for the front, I too am not sure
3) The rear rebolts back on once you unbolt the reflector panel from the trunk lid. For the front, some epoxy should reattach it.
i thought it was japanese domain market? maybe im wrong...
on the front, you use a heat gun to get the bowtie hot then it should just pop right off. but like said above the only way to take the back one off is to take the whole reflector bar off and get different tails and the cf bezel, or a 95-02 trunk. or you can buy a cf bowtie and stick that over the one on the reflector bar.
Check out my build thread!
I remember reading a thread about this awhile back, search and look through old threads. I think fishing line and some soapy water should work though.
I thought it was Japanese Direct Manufacturer

jdm is japanese direct market
to remove the front emblem you take some fishing line and use a see-saw motion behind it to work your way through the glue. once you get all the way through, you can simply pull of the emblem and what i did was just use my thumb to get the rest of the glue off or you can be a girl about it and use goo-gone either way works fine
as for the rear, you would have to take that reflector piece off which if you do, you will either need the carbon fiber filler piece or a 95-02 trunk lid since the 03-05 have holes in them from where the reflector goes

that piece on your trunk, you know the one that has the bowtie around the key hole.....pop the trunk, and unscrew that. then you have to do something about the holes that will left there in place

I'll try the fishing line on the back bowtie and see if it comes off. Look at the pic I posted, the bowtie is gone and NOT the whole piece. Maby in the summer...
