y dump money into a motor that your gonna get rid of? just if you have money now, either put it towards the ecotec or buy parts for the ecotec
I'd say do the exhaust cause it can at least remain after you do the swap. These guys are right don't waste your money on something that your just gonna replace and know your gonna replace as that makes no sence.
Exhasut is about the onlt thing you could do. I however wouldn't bother to get a header since it would have to be replaced. Just do a high flow cat and a cat back that should help any engine and can stay after you swap.

Like they say, the exhaust can be use for both engine so you can do that. even if it's just a few bucks, in the end, it's wasted money and you won't get it back. It's ok to modify a car but it's still wasted money. It's fun when you do it but after a while it's sad when you see all the money you waste for no reason.

if u realy wanna mod the car while waiting for the eco (although just saving for the eco would be the smartest thing to do), why dont u do some other mods u might have planned... short throw?(if same tranny will be used)...drop? audio? wheels? exterior mods? just my input
