A quick "swap" question
Wednesday, April 05, 2006 9:52 PM
Hi, here's the deal, one of my friend have a 94 cavalier and his sister have a 95 sunfire. The thing is that the sunfire engine is about to blow and he was wondering if it was possible to put his cavalier engine into the sunfire. The main reason he was wondering if it would work is because of the motor mounts, at least the upper one that is not the same. I don't know much about those years so it's why I decided to ask here. His cavalier was becoming a danger on the road so he got a Protége and the cavy is now sitting behind his garage (not for a long time, he plan to put it in the jump/mud contest in Saint-Cyprien Toasté (Burnout and stuff like that during a whole weekend))!! Thanks for your answers!!!

The fire is a 2.2 OHV, the cavy is only one year older so it's probably the same thing, it's a 2.2L!!
