heres what is going on, a friend of mine has a sunfire and cavalier forsale, the cav has been in an accident (rear ended) and is pretty much a parts car, the sunfire is in pretty good shape, however.
i was thinking of buying both, and just using the cavalier as a parts car. is there that much diffrence betweent he 2 becides the body?

if you're gonna use it as a parts car, it'll be useful if you need to swap engine and drivetrain parts (as long as they have the same engine and tranny). you can put the cavalier front end (bumper, hood, headlights, fenders) on the sunfire. you can swap the cavalier interior into the sunfire, but you'll have to change everything (upper and lower dash, door panels, etc). suspension can be used. doors are the same (minus the interior panels). there's quite a few things that can be swapped between the two.

Easy ones a Pontiac and ones a Chevrolet.
