well today i got that letter in the mail that says i need to go in for emissions testing, well i just had my full exhaust redone and after doing so ive had my check engine light come on due to the hi flo cat throwing off a code....so i dont think ill be passing emissions with that, but ive heard about these 02 sensor simulators.........do they work?? where can i get one that will fix my problem?? im guessing i need only one for the sensor after the cat, the precat sensor should be alright
any help would be greatly appreciated

Why didn't you pick up the correct cat?? You shouldn't have any problems if you got the correct stuff.

unscrew it a couple threads reset the code n go for the test n hope it doesnt come back on lol

haha its ok though i went in to a jiffy lube today to get it checked out, and its actually the precat sensor that isnt sending a signal....
well before the exhaust was installed i just had the wire for the a/f ratio guage spliced into the wire with one of those plastic connectors
then after putting the exhaust on i decided to solder the wires together....but i just read somewhere that shouldnt be done.......hmmmmm
