help changing THERMOSTAT

i have a 99 2.2 cavailer i need help changing thermostat,can some one give me some advice and pics showing where the thermostat is located at.

If Memory serves me right and don't quote me on this i'm thinking it's on the drivers side of the car near the firewall or someplace it's probably another car i'm thinking of . Sorry i couldn't be of more help.

go get a haynes manual. it will tell you exactly were it is and chances are it will help in other things down the road. it somewere on the top side of the engine were as on the 2.4L it's on bottom

looking in my haynes manual, it is between the exhaust manifold and the altenator.

On the Passenger side of the car, there's a fat hose coming out of the radiator. Follow it to the water pump. The water neck is right there. Two 10mm bolts and off she comes IIRC.

make sure when you put coolent in to open the bleeder screw
