I have a 1998 sunfire with a 2200 carrying 95000 miles on it. Do I dare think of turbo or just add intake and billet accessories? Again i'ts more for show than go but I would'nt mind a little more power than what I have now. the supercharged 205 was something I was thinking of later on down the road. Any suggesstions?
granted it could blow up your engine..but you could try intake, header with exhuast then nitrous. But the only one i noticed a great difference was the nitrous. every lil bit helps though
if you go turbo build up that engine, new pistons, rods, whatever else. or if you decide to stick a turbo on a stoxk motor, make sure its low boost. maybe 3-5 psi
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
It is all going to depend on teh condition of the motor. A 25k mile engine could be in worse shape than a 150k mile engine depending on it's life and the manufacturing process.. no two engines, even the same castings, are identical. Do a wet and dry compression test to determin whether or not the engine is in good enough shape to boost. If it is, a nice equal length turbo manifold, decent size turbo ans some shiney charge pipes will do you wonders at a show. Even if you only crank it to 5psi, nobody at a show will know the difference. Do the propper fuel modifications to make it safe for every-day driving.
Finally... double posting makes baby jesus cry.
