I did a the drl mod on my car this weekend, went driving on sunday night no problems, turned my car off but today when i started her up the check engine light comes on and the turn signals blink really fast and stay on when i turn my lights on. i removed the drl mod just to see if it helped and it didnt from what i saw. could it just be the fact my 03 sunfire threw a code and i need to clear it ?. im trying to get ahold of my buddy so i can clear the codes and see what happens

How exactly did you disable them? Also it is possible you just had a light bulb go bad.

well i bet one of your turn signal bulbs is bad but that wouldnt throw a cel

go to an auto zone to get your code checked, we do them free.

PS - if you flick your lights on and off a couple times they stop blinking.

thnks but i went to my uncles shop and we found out it was a 440 and 2 another codes which slips my mind curently lol but it was a combination of somone stealing my gas cap and my exhaust manifold sensor going with a semi burnt out tail light. it still worked but i noticed it was very dim compared to the others. lol it was a interesting day.
