i want to do a ecotech engine swap on my 95, id like to know what i need for the ecotech to work in my 95. Does it have to be a manual ecotech to work in mine? Do i need the eco computer? Thanks for the help

Why go with an Eco when you ahve the best car to swap a 2.3 Ho and be faster than the eco?
You're ready to go with all the trouble of swapping an eco when you could just drop in an Ho and forget about it?

I gave up because I went too fast and I didn't think.
I was done. I had the turbo and everything working except the Haltech. I ran the car even tough the F5 wasn't coming on so I toast the rings of my new engine. It's my fault if it happend cause everything was perfect. I took everything out and sold most of the parts and bought new forged pistons and rods with a set of cams. I'll be running my N/A engine and I'll use nitrous with it. I was desperate since I had alot of bad luck with it too. All of it because I didn't check everything once I was done. It was really nice tough having boost at 1500rpm. Freakin hard to control tough.

Also, if you can do alot of stuff by yourself it will save you alot of money.

ya if you dont like the 2.3 yo u could always go with a 2.4 little less power but still stronger that a 2.2 ecotec...just s suggestion
sucks that u fried ur rings. you should try boosting it again since u have new pistons and internals. when you say it was hard to control do you mean the boost or acceleration?

I had boost at all time except idle. When I was pushing it, it was hard to get the tire to hook. I could have got a bigger turbine housing to help it tough.
I sold my turbo, Haltech, injectors and my wastegate already. Now I have pistons with 12:1 compression. I'm going for an N/A beast.
