this is prolly the wrong place for this, if it is sorry, feel free to move me
i was wondering what type of gas you all use, and how much you pay.
i use premium, not sure of the octane ill look it up next time i get some, i got some on saturday and it cost me $2.94 a gallon at Noco (i wont go to mobil because last time i did my car really didnt like it, it sputtered and felt like it was going to stall as i was driving home, watered down maybe?
I get regular 87 octane at the major companies only, never circle K or anything like that. I've had friends who got bad gas from them before. I pay about $2.72 right now, but it fluxuates plenty. But this is just my DD.
94 octane, $1.30-1.35 a litre Canadian, on average lately.
But I have a GM Supercharger, cams, head work, etc... it pings on anything less than 92, and most stations around Vancouver BC don't have 92... just 91 and 94.
87 octane at $3.09 for 9/10 of a gallon.
ampm 87 octane $2.97 or more

98' Pontiac Sunfire SE
85.5 octane at right about $2.75 per gallon

89 octane @ 2.91/gallon. I use mostly Shell and never BP as my car has a serious aversion to BP, it bucks and kicks like a wild stallion.

93/94 octane, $1.09 a liter (bought on the Air Force base) or if buying it downtown, about $1.35 - $1.40 a liter. Equals out to be about $3.15 a gallon I think.
Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?

IDK - I just know that I don't have any engine mods so theres no need to use higher octane to keep it safe. Plus, I tried some premium once and I thought that my car liked it less than the low stuff.
I assume she runs fine. I'm gettin 30 mpg so I can't complain too much.
Sometimes I get 86-87 if that is the regular octane at that certain station.

87 octane. chevron or mobil unless i don't have a choice. paying $3.49/gallon. california blows!
GO PATS!!!

I am there with Redneck, but I buy my gas on base, and it is still $3.12 at 87 octane.
87octane
3.20 gallon usually
socal
89 octane, round $2.90 to $3.00 a gallon, I usually get it at the gas station that has it for the same price as 87.
I get about 29 to 30 MPG on 89, about 27 to 28 MPG on 87 octane
91 octane, costs me about EUR 1.34 / liter (equals to $6.34(!!!) / gal)
@BlueDeuce: Do you mean EUR instead of USD for the downtown gas-prices? That's about USD 1.68 - 1.75 per liter!

forgot to mention the mileage: it ranges from 18 mpg (city) - 28 mpg (german "Autobahn" @ 70 mph with c/c)

Yeah, that's right! But you have to know that city-driving means for me short distances about 6 - 8 miles (or less) with a lot of "stop and goes". Sometimes I do longer trips of about 80 miles just for fun at the "Autobahn" just to have the engine warm-up completely and run at higher speeds from time to time. Now in summer it's better, because I'm traveling to some baseball-games around my town or be on vacation.

Yeah you are right I'm sure...hell I buy gas coupons from AAFES and just use them when I'm out and about. Gas is way too much here but what are you going to do?
Oh yeah...you talk about the autobahn and bad milage...today we drove from K-Town to Spangdahlem (about 85 miles or so) running 100 - 105 all the way there and back and I only have right around a quarter tank of gas!! Crappy milage!! That might be 200 - 210 per tank full!
And yes it can take you about 30 minutes to drive about 8 miles around here...milage is terrible then too!
Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?
i use regular unleaded and it's about $299.9 a gallon out here that along with some fuel system cleaner every now and then to keep from having fuel system probs.
