hey guys sorry if this is a novice question but i saw in the library section that 1-2 hp can be freed up by removing the so called "tuner tube". i have a 2.4l z24 but when looking over my engine i cant seem to find what tube this is or how to remove it. do i need to remove my air intake to see it? if anyone has some pics of what the tube looks like or info on how it would free horsepower by removing it, i would apprieciate it, thanks.
Geoff
You have to take the black S tube off the airbox. The opening of the airbox has what looks like a little lip on it, if you pry that lip away, the tube comes out. It doesn't do anything but make a little more noise with it removed.

since i replaced my factory airbox with a custom warm air intake i assume that i cant do this then?
