I love the way my stock sterio tells me what song is playing on the radio, but the cd player hardly works, when i went to the store to get a new sterio, they said that none of the sterios have that option except for the factory ones, is there a way i can take the chip out that makes all this possible, and put it in a new sterio?
I am sure that if you looked around hard enough you will find one that does that. A friend of mine had a Panasonic in his truck that did the same thing that your stock sterio does. I have that same stock stereo in my garage that I have replaced with a Pioneer.

i have a jvc touch screen headunit and it reads the song name and artist
my panasonic tells me the song.

Just buy another stock one off of eBay. They came in almost every GM car/truck.
did they come without the tape deck, cuz i'd like to free up some space? and as for all the other results, that guy from best buy really must not have known what he was talking about....thanks all...And yeah, i know i have a spelling problem...thanks.
most of the time the best buy guys just work there. they don't really know much about what they sell.
