Wow, what a bull@!#$ statement if I ever heard one. 13's are possible with $600, while not the safest route, it will get you there.

Wet nitrous kit (Nx) and you are there. Also, it's 400$ + shipping.

Lets say your car runs 16s. For every second lower up to 10 seconds it is $1000, than for every second under 10 seconds it is $10,000. So from 16 to 13, about $3,000. From say 16 seconds to 8 seconds, $26,000.

I think that's a little off. I'd say every second from 16 to 13 is around $500 to do semi-safely. 13 to 10 around $1000/sec, 10 down around 10,000. Those first few seconds are pretty cheap. What you were getting at, that additional second cost MUCH more is very true.

You have a good foundation to start with (for those of you too lazy to look, he has an '04 with 5-spd). Like these guys said above, you can get in the 13's fairly easy.

my turbo setup cost me about 2000$ CDN I made it all home made! it work fine, some little mistake again but i did a 14.6 with a broken manifold and running only 4 psi! it was my first time on a ¼ mile! you should go for a turbo! always there when you want it! no need to fill a bottle

$400-600 for wet nitrous system
$650 for HPTuners
$~200 for a tuner to dyno tune it
