any one know were i can check out cavs with a V8

Displacement= 2.2L
Valve Train= OHV
Bore & Stroke= 3.50 x 3.46
Compression Ratio= 9 to 1
Net HP @ RPM= 125 @ 5200
Maximum Torque Ft Lbs @ RPM= 135 @ 4000
Fuel System= MFI
Normal Oil Pressure: psi @ 3000 RPM= 56

thats why you modifiy it to accomidate one, im in the works of adding a 305 in my 96 cav

Displacement= 2.2L
Valve Train= OHV
Bore & Stroke= 3.50 x 3.46

If you look at his other posts, in his own region about a v8 cavalier ...

Hes just like most of these new guys , all talk until they learn actually HOW HARD and much money , and effort is needed.


Just because you have a 305 in a beat up camaro or something , and a cavalier , doesnt mean you have the engine swap about to start .

if your going to go through the work to make your car rwd and everything else that needs to take place, why a 305? go bigger, way bigger if your going through all the work anyway.

then you should know being ASE certified is a bunch of garbage. I could have them if i wanted but hands on work is what makes you good, not written exams.
