I'm thinking about swapping out my 2.2L Ecotec L61 for an engine that has more mod options. I was looking into swapping out with a LSJ although, I not looking into increasing cylinders.

If you dont want the eco, ill take it. But the eco has plenty of mods available.
Well, if I went with the LSJ (the 205 HP 2.0L Ecotec w/ supercharger and intercooler that in the new Cobalt SS Supercharged) I would just be switching one Ecotec for another.
Wont work, put the GM Performance Parts Supercharger on your L61, cheaper and gives about the same power gains. The motors dont work as the mounts and trans wont fit in our car without some fabrication IIRC, better off putting the GM blower in.
