i believe it is some sort on control module but if you look in the trunk on the drivers side beneath the carpet on the side there is a box that a blue and black plugs into. I disconnected and tried different systems within the car but have not figured out what it does. just curious

i know its not the amp because it kept playin music, but keyless entry thats one i didnt try, dead batteries in remote

Ok, But i have keyless entry modual, and its under the driver seat. And the stock amp is where he described it.
Thats because in 2000+, the keyless entry module is the BCM, nothing separate, so its in the drivers side kick panel, not under the seat. The one under the seat is the airbag module. In 99- the keyless entry module is in the trunk.
