1st Gen: 1982 - 1987

Designed to replace the Chevy Nova, (Chevette)

J-Body Design Pulled from These Cars within the GM corperate Group

Opel Ascona (quite similar to the Vauxhall Cavalier 1978-1985)

Chevrolet Monza (rare)

Cosworth Vega

Chevrolet Corvair

Chevrolet Citation

Chevrolet Chevette

Opel Kadett

1977 Vauxhall Chevette HS

Vauxhaul Magnum (firenza when in HPF trim)

Vauhall Firenza (first to use "Avon Safety Wheels" aluminum alloy painted 14" rims)

Allot of the early cars (1970 - onward) have the Gen 3 Shape to them.. especially the Monza, Vega and the Vauxhall Firenza

2nd Gen: 1988 - 1994
More familliar

1988 Chevrolet Cavalier

1992 Z-24

a late bloomer, perhaps inspiration for the 3rd Gen.. I dont know.. suspicious

1994 Opel Calibre - Europe, Holden Calibre - Australia

3rd Gen: 1995 - 2004
here we go...

this ones mine..

Replaced by the Chevrolet Cobalt, Pontiac G4
etc etc etc..
