The GT was discontinued in 2003. For 03-05, the dual chrome tipped exhaust was part of an optional sport appearance package. This is according to my confidential sources, aka the www.

They weren't labeled GT, as stated GT was discontinued (only one engine option anyway). But most of the rest got put in teh "sport appearace" package which was basically the same thing.

Id rather have the old Sunbird (91-94)with the 3.1 v6 those things can haul ass.
then later on i would put in the 3100 SFI (2000 and later ones) or the 3400

Those engines are good for atleast 170 HP and 190 torque if im not mistaken.

my 03 ecotec 1SB(trim of 1SA-also called value, 1SB, and 1SC-highest) 1SB and above for 03 had dual exhaust with ecotec I replaced it for my single 2.25" thermal reasearch catback. All I can tell you is that the stock exhaust was at least 2x as heavy as my thermal reasearch exhaust. Stock exhaust = Anchor.
