I read the secret cams sections but i guess i am not understanding corectly i have the 96 LD9 so i am trying to understand what esactly you gain by switing the to those cams newbie question

It shifts your power band higher (assuming you know what that is). Plain and simple: You make higher horsepower at a higher RPM.
More max HP and a slightly better torque curve. It's not a huge difference, but that little bit can make all the difference sometimes.
