changing the dash ?

Well hello to all of you guys here im another new one asking for help

So I just got this 1993 cavalier RS 4 door, and its a cute little red car with razor blade rims on it but I want to change the dash to a better equipped one.

I was wondering if I could get a dash from a Z24 and swap it in my RS ?
Is that possible without changing a whole bunch of wires ?

Thanks for the replies

Long story short: Unplug the wires from the ECM, remove the 2 bolts and 4 screws holding the dash. Also remove the 3 bolts holding the steering column on.

Installation is reverse of removal.

I think what's really wanted here is to change the gauge cluster. I think it's a direct swap on the 2nd gen like it is on the 3rd gen. Follow above instructions to take apart the dash (maybe not including unplugging the ECU though. Then maybe 2 or 4 bolts are holding the cluster down.

yeah I just want to swap the gauges from the Z24 and put in my RS as the Z24 has a tachometer and and a speedo that goes up to 110.

Hell of alot better then my current one which is just the base dashbourd.

or gauge cluster or whatever you want to call it

So its easy right all the wires for the extra gauges are already there behind the cluster ?
