yesterday i took out the tuner tube with no problem. but today it started making a weird noise, like a chirping - whistle type sound, and the check engine light came on. Anything to do with the tuner tube, or just a coincedance?
coincedance....go to a pep boys to get the code scanned/cleared
If you only removed the plastic restriction in the intake, and you are hearing a whistle, I can almost guarantee it is a vacuum leak.
