Can exaust shops make intakes or is exhaust tubing to heavy to make an intake out of?? thanks
Would be better to do it with aluminum tubing and one or 2 rubber coupling!! Or even buy a cheap one like on ebay! I do think that it could be a little heavy if done with exhaust tubing!!
Yeah, 3" exhaust is a bit over 1/8" thick...
yeah. thats what i thought. im trying to see what i can get in my own town here. i hate having to order small things like that. the best i can do is go to work and get the Civic intake we have in stock but i was trying to avoid buying APC and haveing to spend 50 bucks. so im not sure what im gonna do unless you guys have any ideas??

What I was going to do before I got the RDF intake was rig one together using a 90* rubber elbow and some straight 3" exhaust pipe....
Then I got lazy and never finished it.
yeah. thats what im thinking im gonna do. but i have to find out where im gonna get a rubber elbow. im not sure yet. im leaning towards the Civic intake
Home Depot. Its the only place I know of to find one that will clear the breather on the valve cover.
