How hard would it be to change my 94 Convertible from auto to 5 speed??????? Doing a quick resto job in my garage & thought if possible i,d then have the best of both worlds! Marty

alot of work but if you have time and access to a welder and can weld then you can do it.

Worst part is the mouts on the driver's side of the engine bay. They are different, cut old out, weld new in.

and not to mention the adding of the clutch pedal and cutting the firewall. those would be the hardest parts

Thanks. Ive got an extra 5 speed & a 30 over 2.8 with 1000 miles on it. The convertibles got 297800 km. runs good but one day the motors gonna give, so i thought i might just do the big switch when the time comes! Marty

Well at least the holes in the firewall don't have to be 100% precise and able to hold the torque of the engine. Guess cutting anything is pretty hard for people without tools...
