anywho 2 days before i was gonna put my car away for the winter something had to go wrong. ill explain what basically happened. the car sat in my driveway for about a week using my van to drive around. then i started my sunfire up and the car instantly reved right to the red line then i turned her off as soon as i could. then after that the car wont start but i can here it turning over. gota take it to my uncles to see wtf happned but any advice before so we can look for specific things could really help.

Throttle body stuck open?

that or there is a plug in and a wire plugs into it and if its unpluged it will cause that to happen that happend when i changed my plugs once and i accedently unplugged it and i started the car up and it kept reving higher and higher and wouldnt stop so check and make sure all the wires r pluged into your throttle body
