I am looking to build a 2.2 OHV to replace the motor in my 97 sunfire
I need to build a solid bottom end, I might supercharge it later, so I just wondering if anyone knows any companys that makes a aftermarket crank or can rework a stock crank (in Ontario Canada)
why not build up a 2.4 or a 2.2 ecotech instead? you'll have more potential later on than with the 2.2l ohv.
also there is no economical way to supercharge a 2.2 OHV
but you can turbo it

on a scale of 1-10, how difficult is it to swap a 2.4
I would need everything from the 2.4 like the trans, all electrical (harness and ecu) right
for an amateur, i would say a ten
but then building an engine would be a 15
