The big one... Buy a car.

You have no car listed in your profile, can't get much help if we don't know what you have.

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

Now there is an oxymoron.

When it comes to building a car for performance, there is no such thing as cheap power. Remember you get what you pay for... If power was cheap, we would all be pushing 500 hp.

Here are some less exspensive mods you can do.
1. Intake (CAI or WAI)
2. Header
3. Full exhaust or cat back
4. a tune up and oil change (yes it helps)

Do not buy and "power chips" they don't work. Throw a potato in your trunk, it works better.

There is also the search button, it can be your best friend. If you want boost, read over the boost section, reading will save you from being flamed here.

buy a new car if you want more power. its cheaper. or, take some courses, learn about cars, and do it the right way...which is FAR from cheap.

I'm going to actually help you. Get a cheap intake. I went with cosmoracing.com. I think it was like 80 bucks. Then remove all of the factory air intake crap... That is a worthwhile mod. Its cheap, you get a cool noise, and you get a little extra pep up top. I would definitly start there. By the time you have that purchased and installed you will have read some more stuff, and you can decide where to go from there.

intake, exhaust, header is your best start. then you can move up from there

Turbonator or Electric supercharger....Ok, not really. As stated above, an intake is a good start. Do your research first though on anything you put on your car.

I had something really funny to put here but it was too long.
