New To J BODY

Hey I'm new to the jbody scene with my new 96 sunfire convertable. I don't know a lot about these cars but I'm willing to learn so I'll be asking lots of ?'s my car i bought from Kevin (aka drop top fire) so i bought his project car to finish so I'll have to update picts every now and then.

ok here they are the picts of the car as i bought it now you see the work i have to under take here.........

The sunbird is the car i was driveing befor i spun a rod bearing and now its gone!!!

Umm yeah not sure if I missed something but they stopped makin Sunbirds in 1994, switched to the Sunfire in 1995...so I dont think ur Sunbird is a 98 there bud.

that is going to look great once you are done there bud!
question though... what's with the gap between the bumper and your hood? the hood seems to be down all the way, and the bumper seems to be mounted on the fender (will filler as i can tell). do you need to also fill that part too, or you got some plans already?

'eh, none of the less, it looks like it will be very nice when done!!!

I actually bought it as is so i have a lot of work to do but i still have to cut it again and do some more work but i dont think i have all the pieaces for the front end cuz i have nothing to atach it to. I think the guy who had it befor me got rid of the peaces i need. If you look it is actually a cavalier buddy club bummper cuz he wanted to convert but i talked him in to tryin this and it looked really nice and no that hes done trying its my turn!!
