i did a search and can't find my problem.
i installed my shiny new RKsport lower torque mount today, even called the dealer for the torque specs.

my problem is when i start the car, there is a loud clunk as it starts. i knew about and expected the vibrations, but not the clunking. im just wondering if this is normal or not.

Probably the clunk of the starter disengaging that you never really noticed with the stock mount....

Have someone start the car while you are listening outside and see if you can pinpoint the general area of the noise.

i will, i think its coming from the right side. but i could be just thinking it is knowing i just installed the mount.

Did you loosen the upper mount at all when you installed it?
